canvas pop review + giveaway

when canvas pop contacted me to do a review on their products, i was super excited to decorate my walls with one of my favorite pictures of my boy. i knew just which one i wanted to pick- this picture was taken last September from my moms 12 month photo session with my sister in law and will always be a favorite. the only hard part is deciding the perfect place to put it!
i was very pleased when the order shipped. it arrived quickly and the packaging was very protective.

the color and quality is awesome. it is wrapped tightly and i don't foresee it loosening as some of my other canvas prints have done.  i chose the photo wrapped edging option, which is shown in the next picture...

the exciting part is that canvas pop has also so graciously offered to give a 16x20 canvas to one of my lucky readers! simply:

(1) follow my blog via bloglovin'
(2) leave me a comment telling me which picture you would pick to enter
 make sure that i am able to contact you from your comment- leave your email address if you are unsure.
(3) for up to three additional entries: follow me on instagram, facebook and/or pinterest and leave a separate comment for each telling me that you did so.

OR for 35% off your order just use the code CRAZYWALKBLOG35 at checkout {valid through june 30th}

{both are restricted to US and Canada residents only}

spring lovin' and egg huntin'

spring is finally here and i am absolutely loving it! my boy loves being outside so much, so we have taken advantage of the gorgeous days we've been having {in between the rainy ones} and spending a lot of time outdoors.
on tuesday, hannah {our baby boot camp instructor} graciously had 10 mamas {and 12 babies/toddlers!} over to her house for a hunt and egg dying party.
 she even borrowed her niece's pet bunny, sebastian, for the kiddos to meet and take pictures with!
carter loved him. i told him to "be gentle, like we pet Bud" and i was impressed with how sweet and easy he was with him. bless that bunny, he was very tolerant.
 then we had an egg hunt in the field across from hannah's house!
 i love this age because they are not competitive at all. they share their eggs, and don't really care how many they end up with!
it was fun seeing him realize that there is fun stuff IN the eggs, too!
 but he did good... he got a good amount of eggs and had a lot of fun!
only 3 of us mamas were brave enough (ha!) to let our toddlers give it a go with egg dying. which resulted in carter and henry trying to drink the vinegar + food coloring mix, and carter dying his hands and feet a lovely shade of blue ;) obviously i was too busy on damage control to take pictures of the egg dying adventures.

then on thursday we hit up a second easter egg hunt.
 this one was fun because daddy got to come along, too!
 this time he knew exactly what to do... i love how quickly they catch on!
have i mentioned how much i love holiday seasons as a parent? it's probably one of my favorite things... i can't wait for more Easter fun this weekend!

carter's easter basket.

today i am linking up with darci for the easter basket hop!
i have sooo much fun putting together carter's gifts for each holiday. and now that he's starting to understand (or at least get excited about things) i can't wait for him to see what's in his Easter basket this year !
{basket and liner are from pottery barn kids}

the goods:
jellycat bunny (my FAVE stuffed animals- so soft!)
pottery barn kids monogrammed beach towel
bubbles
animal alphabet book
a book about birds (can't remember the name of it now- but he loves finding birds outside!)
football sidewalk chalk
flatware set
kazoo
washcloth set with duckie for the tub
4 whistle music toy
frog bath toy
dancing dinosaur toy

i'm betting the whistle and the dinosaur toy will be the big hits with carter... i'm not sure what to call the dinosaur, but you push the button on the bottom, it "dances"... i love finding new little toys that are easy to stick in the diaper bag for entertainment at a restaurant.

i can't wait to give it to him!
